On December 16, the 15th Wu Mengchao Medicine Award was announced at Jinshan Hospital of Mengchao Liver and Gallbladder Hospital of Fujian Medical University. Professor Shang Xiaoke, chief physician of the Department of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery of Wuhan Union Medical College Hospital, won the 2023 Wu Mengchao Medical Foundation Award and became one of the six awarded experts this year.
